Lizzy Gold Onuwaje was born on 16th October 1987 in Warri, a city located in Delta State. She is from Itsekiri in Delta State and grew up in the same state.

Starting her career as a model, Lizzy Gold gained early recognition by winning the 2006 Miss Delta State pageant and representing Delta State in the prestigious 2007 Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria (MBGN) contest. Transitioning into acting in 2012, she made her debut in the drama film “Agaracha The Lioness” and has since starred in over 100 Nollywood movies. Her notable roles include appearances in “Fight For Love,” “My Destiny,” and “Beauty Hurts,” showcasing her talent and versatility on screen.During her early ages, Lizzy performed with a drama group in the church. She began her professional acting career journey at Emem Isong’s Royal Arts Academy, where she got her diploma after 3 months. She afterward entered for auditions after which she started getting movie roles.
Lizzy came into the limelight after she appeared in the scenes of movies titled “Bubemi” and “The Warri Girl”. She later played a lead role in the movie, “Just A Night”, which speaks against domestic violence. She acted alongside Majid Michael, Femi Jacob, Yvonne Jegede, and Nichole Bana. She has worked with Onyeze movie production and Solo Amaco movie productions, now, she runs her production company, Lizzy Gold production.

Lizzy Gold’s family lives in Warri, Delta State, Nigeria, where the actress was born and raised. She was raised alongside her four siblings, three brothers and a sister. Her youngest brother Nini Johnson Onuwaje is an up-and-coming Nigerian basketball player.
Lizzy Gold is a single mum. She gave birth to a baby boy in 2015. During an interview session with Sunnewsonline, she revealed that she doesn’t feel like getting married and not psychologically ready for it. However, she hopes to get married in her late 30s or early 40s. She has been in a relationship with an unidentified man in 2013 and another in 2015.
